UNIBO TTIPills Series 2019


The International Research Centre on European Law (CIRDE) of the University of Bologna is hosting series of UNIBO’s TTPills will take place within the framework of the 19th Summer SchoolThe Protection of Fundamental Rights in Europe” (Bertinoro, 23-28 June 2019) and will consist of lectures on the legal interactions between EU Free Trade Agreements and European fundamental rights..

More to the point, they will be focused on the following topics:
1. The role of fundamental rights within EU Free Trade Agreements;
2. Intellectual Property Rights and Free Trade Agreements;
3. The EU legal system and the international investment arbitration.

The last lecture will be devoted to involving the students in a Moot Court. The competition will require participants to prepare written and oral arguments for two sides of a fictional case involving a trade dispute.
