The LAwTTIP Executive Summaries series is intended to

  • take stock of the most relevant legal issues emerging from the negotiations and implementation of the TTIP and other EU FTAs;
  • summarise the main findings of the LAwTTIP joint conferences and ensure the follow-up of the LAwTTIP roundtables.

The executive summaries aim at presenting to European decision-makers, in concise, clear and unambiguous terms, some legal tools to overcome specific shortcoming and ambiguities surrounding the TTIP and other FTAs negotiations. The executive summaries are also intended to contribute to an informed public debate on the implications of the agreement for the protection of the EU fundamental rights, including the right to an effective judicial protection. In this respect, they will aim at connecting the academic expertise gathered by the network with stakeholders and national decision-makers.
